Conner & His Fist

Conner is growing so fast!  It is so fun to watch him as he discovers the world around him. 

This is one of his favorite new toys.  It has a mirror on it.  He will sit and talk to himself quite contently for 5-10 minutes.  Then he gets angry when his friend in the mirror does not talk back.  Recently he has discovered that when he hits the hanging star and butterfly it makes noise.  It is so fun to see him learn!

Conner is very talkative.  I have tried to catch his gibberish on camera, but usually the camera distracts him and he stops talking.  Conner LOVES his fist (he is actually partial to two of his fingers, but tries to fit them all in his mouth).

Yup- He loves his fist!

Conner's New Vest

Yesterday I finished making this vest for Conner.  It took me twice as long as it should have & it is super far from perfect- but I thought it turned out pretty cute!  I used an old t-shirt of mine for the black & some fabric from my mom for the lining.

The last few weeks I have been going through my closet and picking out the clothes I have not worn in a while to use for sewing projects.  I have to keep reminding myself to not cut up clothes that we wear...

Happy Easter!

We had a fun Easter weekend.  On Saturday we met at my brother's house in Pocatello for an easter egg hunt.  Conner was so excited that he slept through the egg hunt... so Daniel and I gave him all of our eggs minus the candy.  :D 

He woke up in time to join us for the BBQ.

It was one of the nicest days we have had all spring- but the breeze was a little chilly for Conner, so we bundled him up.  :D 

I made a desert for our little party.  Egg shapped chocolate Eclairs.  Yum!

I saw a picture of these deviled eggs online and I had to try it.  I think they are so cute.

We had a great weekend.  I am excited for the warmer weather that is comming.  It will be nice to be able to go on walks with Conner.

Daddy's Little Boy

Our little Conner is growing so fast!  He is a very smiley & talkative little boy.  His favorite past time is watching his father.

A Weekend at Grandma's

We spent the weekend at Grandma & Grandpa Brown's.  It was great to spend time with family.  Conner gets bored of smiling at the same 2 people all the time. He was excited to have a new audiance.

Everyone was impressed with Conner's adorable smiley-ness.

Tashina and Arlen styled Conner's hair.  They determined that it was too short for a fo-hawk, but not for the Alf-Alfa look.

It looks like Sheldon is going to be a favorite Uncle.  At dinner Conner smiled every time Sheldon looked his way.

Conner was not as interested in napping as Grandpa. :D

We had a great time visiting with family and watching general conference.

The Newest Member of Our Family

Today Conner and I celebrated the warm weather by welcoming the newest member of Conner's entourage-
a New Stroller!

Yup- Yesterday we finally bought a stroller.  We found it for $20 on Craigslist.  It is used, but in super condition.  We saw the same stroller at Walmart for $80- booyah!

Conner gave it an A+ rating- which is good, because I plan to use it a lot this summer. 

Mr. Conner Grant- Daddy's Little Boy

Conner is 9 weeks old!  I can't believe how fast the time has gone.  He is a very social and smiley baby.  We had a little photo shoot on Tuesday to document his smiley-ness.

Yup- he is adorable.  As I reviewed these pictures, I realized that they looked familiar...

This is a picture of baby Daniel Grant at about the same age.  Yup- Conner is a chunker now, but I am guessing that won't last.  :D
