Ryan's Baptism

Today we went to San Diego to celebrate Ryan's (Daniel's nephew) decision to be baptized. At the baptism, Conner sat in the front by the glass with all of the kids looking down into the font.  He is a little to young to understand the importance or significant of the moment.  All he saw was one of his favorite cousins in a pool of water.

So, in the middle of the baptism ordinance, he pointed to the font and said, "me to!  I go too."  He then went to the door and tried to get in to the font.  :-)  Luckily the door was ridiculously heavy and did not budge under his weight.

I took him to the back of the room and explained to him that when he was 8 he could make the decision to be baptized just like Ryan.  He seamed pretty excited about that.  He definitely did not understand how long 6 years is.

Thank you Ryan for being such a good example to all of your younger cousins.  Keep up the good work!

Katie, Sydney, and Conner sharing brownie batter.  Yum!  These three are so cute together.

Catch Up

I know.  I have been a slacker.  Here is a tiny glimpse of what we have been up to the last few months.
Playing with Grandma & Grandad
Bubbly Baths

Hide & Seek (Can you find Conner?)
Lots of playing in the water.
Trying to stay out of the sun, practicing sitting skills.
Wearing gloves, working in the garden, & looking for lizards & airplanes.
Playing in boxes.  So much fun!

 St. Patricks Day rainbow treat.
Running a 5k with my sister Natasha.

Dying Easter Eggs with cool-aid die.
 Messy fun!

Cars Party for our friend Noah.

 Happy Birthday Noah!

Hanging out in the laundry basket.  Aren't they cute?!

Now you are up to date!

Family Pictures

I know, I missed Christmas & a lot of other fun we have had over the last 8 months.  You will just have to trust me that we have been having a ton of fun and had no time for blogging.

A few weeks ago (ok, almost a month now - time flys!!) Cameron, my amazing brother in law, was kind enough to take family pictures for us.  He did a great job.  I am so happy to finally have our adorable family documented.  I may be biased, but I think I live with 3 of the cutest boys ever.

This is Conner telling us what Mom says when she sees a spider.

Happy Birthday Conner!

My little boy is 2!  Can you believe it?

So this is a super late post.  Conner's birthday was back in January - Ooops!

I have decided that Conner is the world best 2 year old.  Yes, he does through an occasional tantrum, and I don't always understand what he wants, but over all he is a super sweet, helpful, happy kid.  We are so glad that he is our son.

Growing Up

Our little boys are so darn cute, and they are growing so fast!!

Hunter is 4 months old & tall!  We go to the doctor on Tuesday and I will get his stats.  He is rolling over more and more.  He has now eaten rice cereal 3 times.  He caught on super quick, and he eats like a champ!

Conner is growing up so fast!  He is talking a lot more.  He will attempt to repeat most words I ask him to say.  Many of them sound the same, but it is still super cute.  Conner is a great older brother.  He loves to say hi to Hunter and sit next to him.  He loves to sit close to (sometimes semi-on top of...) Hunter.  When Hunter is crying, Conner is concerned.  It is so cute.  Before we know it, they will be best friends!

Thanks Bumpa

Daniel's Grandpa was a veteran.  For Veteran's day Conner and I went with Nana to visit his grave and pay our respects.  Thanks Bumpa for your example and love.  Thank you for your sacrifice.

Conner even helped to spray the headstone.

Fun with Grandma & Grandpa Brown

Grandma and Grandpa stayed with us for a day after Hunter's blessing.  Grandma brought Conner some little farm animals, and they had a blast playing with them.

We went on a walk to the park.
Grandpa acted like he was sleeping at the bottom of the slide (let's be honest, he probably was), and Conner slid down and got him.

Grandma and Grandpa were champs and all took turns going down the slides.
Conner leading his groupies.  He likes telling people what to do.  Right now I think it is cute.  That will probably not always be the case.  :-)

Hunter really was around for all of these activities.  He was just asleep in the stroller.  One day I will remember to document his participation.
It was hard to say goodbye to Grandma and Grandpa- but super fun to have them here!  It has been weird for me to be so far away.  We are so glad that they were able to come and visit.
